Get to know TCMU’s mascot: Geo

While all our friends at the museum always greet guests with a friendly face, there is one team member who stands out above the rest: Geo! Geo is our museum’s mascot, a vibrant and colorful character made from various geometric shapes. Though Geo doesn’t have a traditional face, he’s still one of the friendliest and most recognizable figures here at TCMU. He is often spotted around the museum and Giant Geo can be seen hanging out on the front lawn, adding color and cheer to Heritage Green!

inner museum PROMOTIONALs

Working on promotional materials for the inside of the museum, like elevator posters and table tents were some of my most frequent tasks day-to-day. I came to enjoy experimenting with designs and passing by my products each day at work. Below I have attached a few graphics from various events this summer.

Class dismissed

One of my final projects with the museum was designing the branding for their event launch of Class Dismissed: Educator Open House.

TCMU’s Birthday Celebration

During my time at the museum, I had the honor of helping to celebrate TCMU’s 15th birthday. As part of the celebration, I was tasked with creating in-house screens, table tents, posters, birthday invitations, and coloring sheets. Below I have shared just a few of my designs!

Facebook Headers

During my time working with the TCMU staff, I had the opportunity to design the Facebook header images for both the Greenville and Spartanburg locations. This sleek, clean collage maintains a fun, yet professional appearance for the company’s social image.

Pinterest Blog post redesign

As I became more involved with the process of editing and uploading blog posts to TCMU’s website, I undertook the task of creating a template for the blog posts on the social media platform Pinterest.

PACKAGING PROJECT

TCMU Store: SHipping tape Design

The TCMU Store Staff tasked me with creating a TCMU-inspired tape design for their shipping materials. After many mock-ups and meetings, we finally settled on the perfect final product and three color variation!
